(Read more) 925 Sterling Silver925 sterling silver is one of the most commonly used metals in the jewellery industry. There is a good reason for this. The metal, which consists of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, makes the jewellery more resistant to scratches and scuffs. This way, you can wear the jewellery with confidence without having to worry about it breaking quickly.
-
(Read more) GoldplatedThe jewellery is gold-plated with a layer of gold coated on the surface of the metal. The amount of carat can vary from plating to plating and the gold colour can vary in tone. The durability of gold plating depends on the thickness of the gold plating measured in microns and also depends on how much you wear the jewellery and how you care for it. You should remove your jewellery when washing your hands, showering or using perfumed products, as this can wear and degrade the gold plating over time.
