1. Placing orders

When you place an order via our website, it is not a legally binding agreement. Ditur therefore has the right to cancel your order due to printing errors, technical problems, delivery failure or similar situations. We will only send you a binding order confirmation/invoice after we have shipped the goods you have ordered.

Once you have placed an order via our website, our system will automatically send you an email with a summary of the items you have ordered. This email serves as an electronic receipt of your order. Please note that the automatic response is not a legally binding order confirmation.

The agreement between you and Ditur is only binding when you receive an email from us confirming that the item has been shipped. We will not withdraw money from your account until you have received this confirmation and the item has been shipped.

2. Prices

At Ditur, all prices are in Euros and are stated including VAT and taxes.

3. Payment

To ensure secure payment processing, we work with Billwerk. Payment to Ditur.ie can be made using the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna, PayPal and gift cards.

If you pay with an international payment card, such as Visa or MasterCard, the amount will be reserved in your account in accordance with the card's terms and conditions until we complete or decline the payment.

 

3.1 Gift cards

If you have a valid gift card from Ditur.ie, you can use this as a means of payment by entering the unique code at checkout. Gift cards for www.ditur.dk are valid for 2 years from the date of issue. You are also entitled to have the gift card paid out during the term of the gift card + 12 months.

4. Delivery

We offer the following delivery methods:

  • DPD - Delivery to parcel shop or private address
  • Anpost - Delivery to private address
  • DHL -Delivery to private address

The price for a standard delivery is €4,99 (DPD - Delivery to parcel shop). Other delivery methods may be more expensive.

The expected delivery time for your order will be displayed when you select your delivery method during the checkout process. The delivery time given is a guide and may therefore vary.

Orders shipped from Denmark include VAT. No customs duties apply for deliveries to Ireland.

 

4.1 Responsibility for delivery

Ditur is responsible for your order until the time of delivery. The time of delivery is defined as the moment you receive the package.

Please note that if you have given the delivery company permission to deliver the package to your door in case of your absence, the package is considered delivered as soon as it is delivered. The time of delivery is therefore when the package is delivered, and you as the buyer are responsible for the package from this time, if you have given such permission.

 

4.2 Unclaimed packages

It is your responsibility to receive or collect your package in accordance with the instructions you receive upon delivery. Packages not collected by the date stated on the delivery notification will be returned to our warehouse.

When we receive an undelivered package back, we will store it until we are notified whether you want the package sent again or whether you wish to cancel your purchase.

We will charge the actual costs associated with the package being returned to us. If you wish to re-deliver, this can be done against payment for a new package label.

5. Right of complaint

If you wish to complain, you can contact our customer service at support@ditur.ie. For detailed information about how to file a complaint you can click here.

There is a 2-year right of complaint under the Irish Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act. Depending on the situation, you can have the item repaired, exchanged, get your money back or a price reduction. The right of complaint does not apply to errors or damage caused by incorrect handling of the product/service. You must complain "within a reasonable time" after discovering the defect or error. When you create a complaint by sending us an email on support@ditur.ie, you will be sent a free packaging label.

Please note that we do not accept COD or non-delivery shipments.

 

5.1 Complaints regarding pre-owned and demo products

When you buy pre-owned, or demo products, you are still protected by the Irish Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act. Since these products are unique, they cannot be exchanged for new items. If you have a justified complaint, you will get your money back.

6. Right of withdrawal

You can cancel your purchase without giving any reason within 14 days of delivery. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you or another person of your choice (not including the carrier) acquires physical possession of the goods. If you have ordered multiple items in one order and we cannot deliver the items at the same time, the right of cancellation applies from the time you acquire physical possession of the last item.

 

6.1 Cancellation of part of the purchase

If you have purchased multiple items from us, you can return one or more of them, even if they were purchased in the same order. Please note that this does not apply to bundles. Bundles are considered one unit. If you wish to cancel the purchase of a product in a bundle, you must cancel your entire bundle and return all items.

Bundle products can, for example, be watch boxes including watches, gift sets or similar, where several products are sold as a single unit.

Please note that when purchasing 2 for 1 offers, bundled products or other similar offers where a free product is included, the entire order must be returned for a full refund. If the free product is not returned, the refund amount will be reduced by the value of the free product.

 

6.2 Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is void when purchasing personalized products. This includes products that are engraved or customized.

 

6.3 How to undo

You can cancel by clearly notifying us that you have cancelled. You can do this by sending us an email stating that you have cancelled to support@ditur.ie.

You cannot cancel by refusing to receive the item or by failing to pick it up without also notifying that you cancel.

The cancellation period is met if you send your notification that you regret the purchase before the cancellation period has expired.

 

6.4 Return of the product and return costs

If you have regretted the purchase of an item, you must return it without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to regret your purchase. Items cannot be sent cash on delivery or without delivery. You are responsible for the return costs of the item. When using our return label, €5 will be deducted from the refund.

 

6.5 Refund of money in case of cancellation

If you regret your purchase and meet the specified criteria, you will of course receive the amount you paid to us back, including any delivery costs associated with your original purchase. However, the following exceptions apply:

  •       If you have purchased multiple items in one order and only wish to return a portion, the delivery costs will not be refunded.
  •       In the event of depreciation for which you are liable, the amount will be deducted from the purchase price.
  •       You must pay for the costs of returning the item in case of cancellation. When using our return label, €5 will be deducted from the refund.
  •       Special shipping costs will not be refunded, including DHL Express. We will refund the value corresponding to the cheapest delivery method.

We will refund your payment without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we have received notification from you that you wish to cancel the purchase. The refund will be made using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have given us express consent to something else.

We reserve the right to withhold the refund until we have received the returned item, unless you can provide documentation that you have returned it before then.

 

6.6 Condition of the goods upon return

According to Irish law, you always have a 14-day right of return for online purchases, even if you have broken the seal and used the product. However, you should be aware that you may be liable for any loss of value caused by the use of the product. Loss of value is always assessed on a case-by-case basis and may vary. For certain products, the packaging represents a significant part of the product's resale value, and it is therefore important that you take good care of the packaging and do not damage it.

To ensure that you get a full refund when returning the item, it is important that the item is in the same condition as when you received it. This means that the item must not be damaged, dirty or otherwise deteriorated, and that all original tags, labels and packaging must be intact. If the item has been used in a way that clearly reduces the value of the item, we reserve the right to reduce the amount that you will be refunded. To ensure a full refund, we therefore recommend that you handle the item carefully and only try it on in the same way that you would in a physical store.

7. Right of return

In addition to your statutory right to cancel your purchase, Ditur offers you the option to return your goods within 99 days of purchase . If you use our extended return policy, the goods must be returned to us unused, in unbroken packaging and undamaged condition . You pay for the return yourself. In connection with creating the return case by sending us an email on support@ditur.ie, you will receive a return label that can be used to return the item. Returns must be sent to our warehouse in Denmark. You are responsible for safe return shipment. When using our label, €5 will be deducted.

The right of return does not change your statutory right to cancel the purchase, which is described above. The 99-day right of return is valid from the time of purchase.

 

7.1 Right of return for pre-owned and demo products

When purchasing pre-owned and demo products, the usual 99-day return period is not applicable, as the goods may have been used before or have unique characteristics. However, this does not affect the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, which also applies to purchases of pre-owned and demo products.

8. Especially for pre-owned and demo products

Pre-owned products are products that have had a previous owner, may have been used previously or have individual errors or defects that mean the product cannot be sold as new, but which still function optimally.

Demo products are new products that may have been used for presentation, exhibition or marketing. For example, they may have been displayed in a store, used for product photography or used in campaigns, but are still in good condition and functionally intact.

Assessment of condition and any errors and defects in the product will be clearly stated on the individual product.

10. Sign up for Ditur's newsletter

By subscribing to the newsletter, you agree that Ditur ApS may send you marketing via email, SMS and MMS regarding products that are relevant to you, including watches, watch cases, watch accessories, watch tools, jewelry, accessories, offers, sales, competitions, events and other similar marketing initiatives. You also agree to receive service emails regarding interrupted ordering processes.

11. Club Ditur

Club Ditur is open to anyone who registers online via our website. Membership is free, and by registering you agree to the terms and conditions below.

Please note that if you have not previously shopped with us, you will start at the Bronze level. If you have previously shopped with us using the email address you use when signing up, your total previous purchases will automatically place you in the membership level that matches your history. This way, we recognize your loyalty from day one in the club.

 

11.1 Membership levels and advancement

Club Ditur has six levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Black. New members are assigned a level based on previous purchases. If you are a new customer with no previous purchases, you will start at the Bronze level. Each level offers more benefits such as a higher number of earned points per order and lower limits for free delivery. Earned points can be used in our exclusive Point Shop. You can always see how much you need to get to the next level in your account overview. All members can see the benefits available at each level, with the exception of our top level, Black. The benefits in the Black level are unique and only known to members who achieve this exclusive level.

 

11.2 Benefits and rewards

As a member, you enjoy various benefits that increase the higher the level you reach. One of the primary benefits is points that you earn when you make purchases on our webshop. At the Bronze level, all members earn 10% of the purchase amount as points. Read more about our Points Shop below. The percentage varies at the different levels.

In addition, as a member you get access to your full purchase history and a summary of your product reviews, which gives a personal insight into your experience with us. Other benefits include lower free shipping limits as well as discounts on gift wrapping and services such as engraving, battery replacement and glass protection. These benefits are constantly expanding - the higher the level you achieve, the greater the benefits you get access to.

 

11.3 Conditions for benefits

As a member of Ditur's customer club, you already have the option of free shipping from the Silver level. You can get free shipping if you buy for more than the specific amount stated at your level. Free shipping applies to GLS parcel shops as well as collection at any store. This will be clear on the delivery page when you complete the order.

Engraving : As a member of Ditur's customer club, you get a lower price for engraving as a Gold, Platinum, Diamond or Black member. The price for engraving will be clear in the shopping cart if you are logged in.

Gift wrapping : As a member of Ditur's customer club, you receive a lower price for gift wrapping as a Gold, Platinum, Diamond or Black member. The price for gift wrapping will be clearly visible in the shopping cart if you are logged in.

Battery replacement : As a member of Ditur's customer club, you get a lower price for battery replacement as a Gold, Platinum, Diamond or Black member. You can get the price by showing your profile in one of our stores. 

Free return shipping: As a member of Ditur's customer club, you receive free return shipping as a Gold, Platinum, Diamond or Black member. You must still send us an email on support@ditur.ie.

Earning points: As a member, you earn points for each order. When purchasing a gift card, points are earned on the actual purchase of the gift card, but not on redemption or use of the gift card.

 

11.4 Points shop

The points you earn when you make a purchase are collected in your account and can only be used in our member-exclusive Point Shop. Here you may be lucky enough to find specially selected products that are only available to club members. Some of these items can only be purchased with points and cannot be purchased with regular currency.

Points are valid for 12 months from the date of your last purchase. Each new purchase automatically extends the validity of all accumulated points by another 12 months, as long as purchases are made within this period.

Earned points will only be available in your account after the 99-day return period has expired. If you wish to have your points paid out earlier, the following applies:

  •       You can get your points paid out at the earliest after the 14-day statutory right of return.
  •       By waiving the remaining part of Ditur's extended 99-day return period, you can receive your points in your account.

You redeem your points in your account, thereby waiving the right of return.

Please note that earned points are personal and cannot be transferred to others.

 

11.5 Communication

As part of your membership in the Customer Club, you agree to receive personalized communications via email. These messages may include special offers, updates on your membership level, and exclusive promotions. By signing up, you agree to receive these messages, which are a central part of the Customer Club experience.

If you wish to continue to be a member but not receive personalized communications, you can unsubscribe from our communications at any time via the link in the emails you receive from us.

 

11.6 Termination of membership

You can cancel your membership at any time by contacting our support. Upon cancellation, you will lose any unused points and will no longer have access to exclusive benefits and items in the Points Shop.

 

11.7 Privacy Policy

All personal data collected in connection with your membership will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy, which you can find on our website here. By joining the Customer Club, you agree to the use of your data in accordance with this policy.

 

11.8 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to adjust the terms of how points are earned, expire and used, and to change other member benefits. This may include both phasing out existing benefits and adding new ones, which may affect points already earned. In addition, we may make changes to our processing of your personal data from time to time.

In the event of significant changes to Club Ditur, you will be informed in writing via your registered email with at least one month's notice. It is therefore important that your contact information under "Account information" on ditur.dk is updated. Your membership and the points earned will remain valid during this notice period. If you cannot accept the changes, you have the option to unsubscribe from Club Ditur before the changes come into effect.

Changes that are not material or that are to your advantage may be implemented without prior notice.

12. Warranty conditions

Ditur offers extra security when purchasing watches through the option to purchase an extended warranty for a specific product with a commitment of either 1, 2, 3 or 5 years. The price for the entire commitment period is added to the product price at checkout.

 

12.1 Ditur's extended warranty covers:

  • Damaged or non-functioning clockwork
  • Fall and fracture injuries
  • Damage from impacts, shocks and vibrations
  • Broken watch glass
  • Damage to watch case, buckle, bracelet, crown, hands, etc.
  • Water damage and condensation (at least 6 ATM)
  • Design, material and manufacturing defects

 

12.2 Ditur's extended warranty does not cover:

  • Replacement of lost parts (crown, stones, strap parts, etc.)
  • Cosmetic damage
  • Normal wear and tear from normal use on, for example, leather, textiles, batteries
  • Water damage on watches with 5 ATM or less
  • Grossly negligent and intentional damage

 

12.3 Buyer's rights under the warranty

If damage occurs that is covered by the warranty, the buyer has the right to have the watch repaired or replaced. If the damaged product cannot be repaired and has been discontinued by the supplier, the consumer will be offered a similar product or a gift certificate to Ditur equal to the value of the watch at the time of purchase. Ditur's extended warranty does not affect the buyer's remedies and rights under the Irish Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act.

 

12.4 Who does Ditur's extended warranty apply to?

Ditur's extended warranty follows the buyer of the product with warranty, see the name on the receipt. This means that Ditur's extended warranty is only valid if the buyer continues to be the owner of the product to which the warranty is tied. In the event of a sale/transfer of the product with warranty to a new owner, the watch will no longer be covered by the warranty at the time of transfer.

 

12.5 What should you do if an injury occurs?

If your watch is damaged and you wish to take advantage of the extended warranty, you must contact Ditur's customer service and describe the damage no later than 7 days after the damage occurred.

 

12.6 Safety regulations and precautions

Safety regulations: The consumer undertakes to ensure that the consumer's product is used and stored correctly in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The product must be used as intended and manufactured.

Care requirements: The product purchased with an extended warranty must be handled with normal care to prevent any damage as much as possible.

 

12.7 Right of withdrawal and termination of warranty agreement

When purchasing Ditur's extended warranty, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal and a 99-day right of return. The period starts from the day you receive your receipt and confirmation of the purchase of a product with Ditur's extended warranty.

If you return the product to which the extended warranty is attached, the warranty will automatically terminate and the full amount for both the product and the warranty will be refunded to the same payment method you used for the purchase. This assumes that the general terms and conditions for returns have been met.

If you have purchased multiple watches of the same model, but only purchased extended warranty for some of them, returning one or more watches of the same model will be considered as returning watches without extended warranty. If the number of watches returned exceeds the number not covered by the warranty, the extended warranty will also be refunded.

 

12.8 Termination of Ditur's warranty agreement

If it is assessed that the customer has deliberately performed an action intended to exploit the conditions of the extended warranty, Ditur may terminate the agreement against a refund of an amount corresponding to the remainder of the purchased extended warranty period.
